Workspace resource tiers and pay-as-you-go token top-ups.
How pricing works
Solitud pricing has two independent parts:
- Workspace resources — a recurring monthly charge for the compute, memory, and hosting that keep each workspace running and online.
- Tokens — pay-as-you-go token top-ups that fund the AI work of building and changing your apps.
You pay for what's running (resources) and what you build (tokens), separately. A workspace you never change still costs its resource tier; heavy building draws down tokens but doesn't change your resource bill.
Workspace resource tiers
When you create a workspace, you choose a resource tier. Bigger tiers reserve more CPU and RAM — useful as traffic or data grows. You can move a workspace to another tier later.

Each running workspace is billed for its tier. Stopping a workspace pauses its runtime; deleting it ends the charge (and cancels its subscription).
Resource tiers are managed live, so the app always shows the current options and prices when you create or resize a workspace.
Token top-ups
Tokens fund AI usage and live in your account's Token Wallet, shared across every workspace you own. You top up when you want more — there's no monthly minimum. Larger top-ups carry bonus tokens.

How many tokens do I get? Each Solitud AI has its own balance and top-up options, so the exact token amount depends on the model and is shown in the app at top-up time. Pricing here is the dollar amount and bonus tier.
Creating a workspace needs a wallet balance. New workspaces are gated on a non-trivial Token Wallet balance (about one $100 top-up), so top up first.

FAQ
Do I pay for hosting and tokens separately? Yes. Resources keep your app running; tokens pay for AI work. They're billed independently.
What happens if I run out of tokens mid-build? The current turn finishes what it can; you top up before the next one. Building incrementally keeps each turn small.
Can I resize a workspace? Yes — move a workspace's tier up or down as your needs change.
Is there a free tier? Signing up is free. To create a workspace you'll need a Token Wallet balance (about one $100 top-up); the Starter resource tier is $29/mo.
